EMPOWERING PARENTS

TRUSTED EXPERTISE

DECISION TRANSPARENCY

PRESERVING PERSEVERANCE

ACTION WITH UNDERSTANDING

Meet Philip DeLoach, a licensed attorney, real estate broker, and professional investigator, with experience in corporate governance, business, tax, mortgage, and real estate law. Philip graduated from Michigan State University (2011), and Ave Maria School of Law (2014); he is a member of the Florida Bar (2014) and the Michigan Bar (2016), and promises, if elected, to use his professional expertise and business acumen to preserve the perseverance of Northville Public Schools.

Philip and his wife have four kids in the district between the ages of 1 and 8. Two currently attending Moraine Elementary School and one at Old Village's Early Childhood program.

Philip is running as a "common sense candidate" for Northville Board of Education. What does that mean?

Common sense principles like decision transparency, fact-based decision making, and parent-driven policy will help further the success of our local education experts (i.e., the teachers). The professional experience Philip brings to the board will help safeguard NPS against policies that would otherwise drive parents and students away from our district.

Philip is committed to bringing tried and true legal expertise to the board and promises open and honest discussions with parents. Philip runs on the promise to avoid policy surprises by being a transparent and informative resource for parents and teachers, alike.

Philip is invested in Northville; with 4 kids in the district, every decision matters. After COVID, students fled the public school system, costing Northville millions of dollars. Now, the State slashed school funding, costing Northville millions more. It's time to scrutinize the budget to mitigate the effects of the missing dollars and cents, while keeping our teachers employed, and their salaries and benefits high.

Northville is one of the top school districts in the State. The leadership and experience Philip brings to the board will help keep it that way. Our teachers comprise the backbone of Northville education; prioritizing teachers' needs with a lean budget is a must.

Former board member-attorneys proved their legal training a valuable asset to the board during their respective tenures. Maintaining seated legal expertise should present a prudent and stable option for voters.

Philip's vision for the school board is one which fosters an accountable educational environment, with a focus on parent involvement, that's the "DeLoach Approach."
